The Legal Software Suppliers Association (LSSA) is the UK industry body for legal systems developers and vendors.

Representing twenty six of the leading UK legal system suppliers, it aims to both set and maintain professional standards within the industry and manage areas of mutual interest with respect to the promotion and advancement of legal systems technology.

The majority of law firms in England and Wales are represented by LSSA membership and it for this reason that the LSSA is best placed to be the focal point and is able to provide a key role and focus in establishing standards and cooperation between suppliers, professional bodies, and government organisations.

The LSSA has set up and actively contributes to various working parties and forums to bring organisations together to develop common standards for the legal software industry. It has a wide variety of links to organisations such as the Land Registry, LSC, Pisces and the Law Society.

The LSSA has well and truly established itself as an influential voice for the legal software industry.
