Post-recession job move planned by one-third of workers

The CIPD has repeated calls for employers to invest in staff if they are to retain them after the recession.

The warning comes as new figures reveal that more than one-third of workers want to change their careers once the economic crisis is over.

A survey of 3,000 employees by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that concerns about job security and a lack of opportunities were forcing workers to stay put.
