Aderant 2020 Business of Law and Legal Technology Survey Results: Evaluating remote work preparedness and forecasting tech investment trends

Aderant’s fourth annual legal tech survey, conducted in August and September of 2020, provides an unprecedented look into how law firms handled the COVID pandemic’s sudden shift to full-scale remote work. A more diverse pool of respondents, including increased participation from firms in EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) and APA (Asia/Pacific/Australia) regions, gives 2020’s survey a more holistic view of legal tech trends. Also included in the report is a prediction for future legal tech spending based on insight into how the year’s events shifted law firm budgetary priorities.
