AlphaLAW are pleased to announce the latest version of its practice management software Uno. The new version is currently being installed across the existing user base giving users advanced functionality and the ability to improve efficiency.

There are two major functionality changes in the new Uno release; a new Digital Dictation module and the integration of market leading electronic legal forms IRIS Laserform, both of which will deliver valuable time savings for firms. The new Digital Dictation module, specific to Uno, will allow fee earners to record dictations relating to particular matters, assign the dictations to an individual user and also specify the template document for use if required. This will be shown on the user's task list to be transcribed, with the option to send it back to the fee earner for approval. The dictations also have the option to be reassigned from one user's task list to another. This functionality is compatible with the Philips SpeechMike range.

IRIS Laserform contains the UK's most comprehensive library of legal forms and includes many time saving features. Over 2,000 clients including 87 of the Top 100 UK law firms use Laserform electronic legal forms to manage risks and boost their revenues for their firms by ensuring they are using the most accurate and sophisticated forms available.

Sales Manager Kevin Draper comments "We're delighted to be announcing the new release of Uno. Our clients have been asking for Digital Dictation within Uno, we've listened and we've delivered a solution that will meet and exceed their needs. On top of that, we've integrated the IRIS Laserform solution which will also bring a great deal of benefit to our customers" .
