IntApp, Inc., the leading provider of integration, risk management and time capture software for law firms, and Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that their long-standing partnership continues to pay dividends for their joint law firm clients.
Increasingly, law firms are looking to Business Process Management technology to increase their operating efficiency and improve the quality of service provided to clients and internal users. The Metastorm BPM® software suite enables law firms to create, track and measure repeatable processes. It provides a structured approach for firms to simplify and manage activities including new business intake, conflict-of-interest reviews, and new personnel on-boarding.
To further enhance the efficiency of these and other processes, organisations use IntApp Integration Builder to automate the movement of business data among firm applications, as required to carry out these activities. For example, client matter data created during new business intake must be communicated to software systems including financial, time entry, document management and portal applications. Integration Builder complements Metastorm BPM by providing a centralised way to connect people with the information they need to carry out processes, and automatically communicating information created by those individuals to required target applications.
"We’ve been using Metastorm BPM and IntApp Integration Builder together for years to streamline a variety of important business processes, including new personnel intake," said Brian Gillam, CIO, Cozen O'Connor LLP. "These technologies naturally complement one another - Metastorm manages the 'people side' of processes, while IntApp automates the 'data side' of the equation. For new business intake, the net result is that our systems notify our lawyers when they have a conflict review to perform and then route responses and documentation to our new matter approval team."
"Our IT strategy is to adopt best-of-breed software applications that meet the specific needs of the lawyers and business stakeholders at our firm," said John Green, Chief Information Officer, Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC. "We rely on IntApp Integration Builder and Metastorm BPM to connect those applications, and the information they manage, with the individuals that carry out processes critical to the operation of the firm."
"Today law firms are more focused than ever on maximizing business efficiency and leveraging Business Process Management and data integration together provides a straightforward way to control costs and improve client service," said Tim Gardiner, director of Legal Channels, Metastorm. "Our partnership with IntApp has produced significant value for our joint clients and we look forward to building on that success."
"Together, Metastorm BPM and IntApp Integration Builder provide law firms with a proven means to simplify and speed internal process execution," said Neal Vora, head of IntApp's Integration Practice Group. "Our partnership with Metastorm has proved successful because both organisations are committed to connecting people with the information they need to be effective."
