Magellan has signed a unique agreement with V7 Technologies bringing digital dictation to law firms without the expensive infrastructure required for standard digital dictation products.

Firms are able to transform their existing standard BlackBerry® units into high end mobile digital dictation recorders. The software contains all the functions you would expect from other expensive digital dictation machines AND possibly the most useful and unique feature is, that unlike other dictation machines, you do not need to return to the office to download recordings as the software will send the sound file in an email from your BlackBerry® anytime anywhere.

Solicitors can now dictate while out at court and have their transcribed document on their desk by the time they return to the office. This unique feature puts an end to dead time for solicitors while delayed at court or travelling.

» All the features of a high end specification digital dictation machine on a BlackBerry®;
» Highly cost effective;
» It takes 5 minutes to install over the air and is simple to use;
» Record your dictation and send anytime and anywhere;
» Real time data streaming to ensure disaster recovery and also significantly minimises transmission times;
» Secure and encrypted messaging which can be password protected;
» Works independently of e-mail applications;
» Free transcription software;
» Yodal is free for firms wishing to outsource their dictation with Magellan.
