Magellan, a UK based Outsourcing Consultancy has this week opened their second office which is based in the City of London near Liverpool Street.

The company says that they are starting to see a definite improvement in the economy and needed a second office feeling that a presence in the City would be of greater benefit to their clients.

Kesh Sharma one of the Directors of Magellan said that "Although my secretary, and in fact all our back office staff are located offshore, the demand for our services have grown to such an extent that we needed to employ more UK based project managers and account managers to handle our new clients."

Kesh says that the recession has shown businesses in the UK that the traditional structure of business had to change. "Many Companies now recognise the fact that having transcription and document production done by a secretary or a fee earner was expensive and did not make economic sense." Kesh went on to say that this was the beginning of the change and that he predicted in future having a full back office onshore would be as outdated as employing your own cleaning and security staff is today.
