ADERANT, a global provider of business, financial, and information management software for law and professional services firms, today announced that the UK-based professional services firm Maitland has implemented ADERANT Expert as the new practice management system for its legal advisory division.

After a thorough evaluation of several suppliers, Maitland selected ADERANT Expert in December 2009 based on its robust functionality, especially the application’s international capabilities, and ADERANT’s proven track record of on time and on budget implementations.

Maitland replaced its legacy applications for time recording and accounting with ADERANT Expert’s advanced time capture and financial management system, which have been rolled out across seven locations in six countries, making full use of the multi-jurisdictional financial management functionality.

The project was completed within the projected time frame and budget in the record time of only five months using ADERANT Accelerate, a jump start implementation approach that is aimed at reducing implementation time and cost for firms. Based on best practice examples from a broad range of projects, a set of predefined parameters, processes, and templates allowed the project team to quickly decide where modifications were needed and in which areas the suggested configurations could be used.
