Wright Hassall launches sports management business

Midlands firm Wright Hassall has launched a sports management arm for professional athletes and snared an Aston Villa player as its first client.

The Leamington Spa-based firm has set up Wright Sports Management, which will use the firm’s own lawyers and consultants but will operate as a separate business. It will be fully owned by Wright Hassall.

19-year-old Aston Villa midfielder Courtney Cameron has signed up as the management business’ first client. Cameron joined the Birmingham club from Northampton Town in 2009 for £35,000.
