PERSONAL INFORMATION
Clearly defined at the top your CV should be your Personal Details which should include:
Full Name
Address
Contact Details (Only put down the details you are happy to be contacted on. Do not use a work email or phone number if you are not prepared to be contacted there!)
Home number
Mobile number
Work number
Email Address (Work & Home)
With the Legislation changing rapidly in respect of Age Discrimination, Equal Opportunities and Human Rights in relation to job applications it is not obligatory to add Date of Birth, Marital Status, Health, Driving License or others, although you may do so at your own discretion.
TopTip This information does not need to take up a 1/2, 1/3 or even a 1/4 of the first page of your CV - it should be clear, concise and simply displayed in the first few lines at the top of the page.
Writing your name and address in a large font is not going to get you a job – writing about your skills and experience is!
