THE PAPERLESS OFFICE - FACT OR FICTION?

In addition there is a print button in the ‘Case History’ section that will consolidate all the images for an individual matter into a multi page .PDF file (including WP, email, hand written file notes etc., in other words all the case history). This can then be sent (via email, CD, flash memory stick or web download) to clients, chambers, courts, colleagues etc. No longer do secretaries and fee earners have to stand for hours at photocopiers compiling files. With ImageRouter it's just a click and the file is produced, plus there is the added advantage that these files cannot be altered. 

Another significant benefit of ImageRouter is that it provides a full audit trail for all images and documents. Hunting for letters and files immediately becomes a thing of the past. Coupled with this is the benefit that security copies of all images are taken with every system backup so there is no possibility of loosing important documents or images.

So while ImageRouter may not provide a truly paperless office it does provide users with a ‘less paper’ environment, a faster, more efficient distribution of images (documents and photographs) which in turn gives fee earners immediate access to all aspects of a case file, even if someone else is working on it.
