Case study - Clarke Willmott uses Econocom

Clarke Willmott have been using Econocom since mid 2004. They needed a tax efficient lease facility incorporating all software, services and hardware required for a new practice management system. 

Econocom were able to demonstrate the ability to warehouse all the costs prior to the establishment of a lease going forward through their Project Rental Agreement; this meant that one of the main drivers – cash flow – was efficiently met as only small interim charges to cover interest and administration were levied over the project implementation period as Econocom picked up all the capital costs.

The implementation was a major success for Clarke Willmott and has enabled them to move the partnership ahead on a more stable platform, having recently converted to LLP status.

This led to a saving of around £40 per server leased and further potential savings in the event of accidental damage or loss of the hardware. After the main lease was set up, further bespoking and training services were delivered by Thomson Elite and these were also paid for by Econocom under a new Project Rental Agreement.
