Winscribe recruits former KPMG director to lead global sales
International dictation and business processing specialist Winscribe has appointed Colin Wilson as its new global VP of sales.
Wilson has more than 20 years' experience in the international IT sector, including a three-year spell as director of sales at KPMG Consulting and six years at Marcam Corporation, working across its UK and Southern Africa divisions.
The 51-year-old takes up his new position at Winscribe from December 1, leaving behind his present role as managing director at sales training consultancy First Border Ltd, where he has helped to implement business development strategies for Dell, Apple, Samsung and Siemens, amongst others.
Winscribe has a significant presence in the UK, particularly among clients in the legal and healthcare sectors, and has recently unveiled its new Business Process Management system in a bid to grow that market share even further.
Wilson has already played a significant role in those efforts, overseeing development of the company's sales teams in his capacity as a consultant, a role which has now led to him joining Winscribe on a permanent basis.
Speaking of his appointment, Wilson said: "Winscribe is a company of international repute and I'm immensely proud to be joining its ranks at such an exciting time.
"The company has major ambitions in a number of key global markets with the rollout of the new Business Process Management system and the continued development of its renowned digital dictation services.
"I intend to use my experience across a range of industrial and geographic sectors to help Winscribe deliver on its potential."
