Hi Jayne, The rules are now known as the SRA Accounts Rules rather than the Solicitors Accounts Rules, which may be why you can't find it. The current version is Version 7 of the Handbook which was published on 1 April 2013. Because the rules are updated regularly and guidance notes are issued, I think you would be better viewing this online rather than looking for a book. You can print it off from the website if you wanted it in hard-copy form. You can view the rules here: http://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/handbook/accountsrules/content.page And download and print from here: http://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/handbook/pdfcentre.page If you're looking to learn about legal accounts then I would also highly recommend going on one of the courses run by the Institute of Legal Finance and Management. The rules can be very daunting and are very lengthy, but the ILFM can give you a really good practical understanding. Hope that helps. Deborah
