The corporate and commercial team is particularly busy and is now looking to expand by developing an interesting role within the contracts department. You will be joining a team dealing with a mix of corporate and commercial work, and should be comfortable working in both areas. This is a role for an experienced paralegal or similar with a demonstrable record of advising on and dealing with contracts, such as undertaking contract reviews, preparing reports and performing due diligence on a variety of commercial law documents. Excellent drafting skills are also required. The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of responsibility and previous relevant commercial contracts experience is essential. The role is based in the Camberley office, although there may be some time spent in one of the firm's additional offices in the area, therefore a full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle will be required.
Be a paralegal, legal executive or similar, with a significant, demonstrable background in reviewing contracts and associated documentation; gained from working in a well-respected law firm or possibly with a local authority or as a contracts manager within a business;
Possess excellent drafting skills, with experience in drafting bespoke contracts;
Be meticulous, focused and with excellent time-management;
Have a full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
