Does anybody scan in post and go some way to a paperless office?

Constantly trying to streamline as we all are, and would REALLY like to introduce the idea of scanning all incoming post onto our system and destroying the original correspondence once dealt with. Met with horror by most Fee Earners I know, so just wondered if anybody has positive experience of this to share!

Hello Stephanie. Those organisations we've worked with to "Scan & Shred" generally rave about it. There are software solutions that make the operation relatively painless. The knock on savings for physical document storage and document retention policies can be substantial too.
