HighQ case study: Benesch Law

Benesch Law: from SharePoint to true collaboration. David Colombo, SharePoint/Communications Engineer at Benesch Law, explains how the firm switched to HighQ Collaborate to improve its client extranets and internal collaboration.

Benesch is a business law firm that services national and international clients that include public and private, middle market and emerging companies as well as private equity funds, entrepreneurs, not-for-profit organizations, trusts and estates.

The challenge: creating a complete collaboration solution

Benesch sought a complete solution as a replacement for their existing SharePoint and custom-built intranet. David Colombo, SharePoint/Communications Engineer, explains: “SharePoint required a lot of administration because of the many limitations the system has. I had to manage all of our SharePoint sites manually, which was very time consuming.”

“We had all the components we needed but still weren’t achieving the complete solution our users wanted,” David explains. “We received constant requests to find a better solution to collaboration issues between internal and external users, so we needed a fully collaborative platform.”
