News: Sullivan & Cromwell to ditch bespoke PMS for Elite 3E

Top-20 AmLaw and top-250 UK firm Sullivan & Cromwell is to ditch its bespoke practice management system and go for an Elite 3E set-up, can reveal.

Sullivan & Cromwell is one of the last firms in the UK top 250 to divest itself of a bespoke PMS in favour of a practice-spanning system like 3E.

The US firm joins a large number of law firms in the UK top 250 using a multi-capability PMS such as ones made by Elite, Aderant, Pilgrim and LexisNexis.

The news comes on the heels of the recent LexisNexis announcement of its tie-in with Microsoft to create an enterprise resource planning-style new PMS for law firms (see our blog for more on that announcement).

Though a representative for Sullivan & Cromwell said she was unable to comment on whether the firm was to adopt Elite, has it on good authority from multiple sources that the ink on the deal is thoroughly dry.
