SeeUnity’s Echo Automate now supports automated workspace creation to simplify integrating and governing Microsoft Teams with organisations’ document management systems

SeeUnity, the leading provider of API-based content integration and migration solutions for on-premise and cloud-based Enterprise Content Management applications, is pleased to announce today the release of an Echo Automate product enhancement designed to automatically create workspaces using iManage’s Workspace templates when Microsoft Teams sites are created or flagged to be synchronized with the document management systems (DMS). This new feature is part of a larger automation sequence that manages detection of a new or existing Teams site, links the site with the corresponding workspace in the DMS, and initiates a content and meta-data synchronization. Echo Automate is now equipped to dynamically create the corresponding workspace in iManage if one doesn’t already exist.

Echo Automate, introduced in September of 2020, adds a layer of intelligent process automation to SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization product. It was built to fully automate the time-consuming process of creating, maintaining, and executing large volumes of content synchronization rules between systems, such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, iManage, NetDocuments, Thomson Reuters’ HighQ, Anaqua’s PATTSY WAVE, Filevine, PacerPro, and others. The no-code solution eliminates manual processes, reduces IT administration, and improves productivity while maintaining Information Governance.

“With the sharp rise in Teams use, we’re seeing organizations regrouping on their collaboration strategies and especially focusing on data governance. Echo Automate is rapidly evolving to help these firms support their remote workers’ productivity, and at the same time, address that data sprawl associated with using Teams and other applications outside of the DMS,” commented SeeUnity’s CEO, Dan Anderson.

“Echo Automate with iManage workspace creation can be triggered from Teams, HighQ, and other sources today. Development on additional systems, including NetDocuments, is underway.” – Dan Hunsinger, CTO, SeeUnity
