iTrain Legal case study: BLM

Marketing and BD

Project: Provide training support during rolling out of Intapp Open to the firm.

About BLM:
BLM is an insurance risk and commercial law firm with both a domestic and international focus. They now work with an increasing number of clients, across more lines of business, in more locations throughout the UK and Ireland as well as across the world, than ever before.

Project Overview:
BLM were replacing their legacy business intake, client and matter inception and risk management systems with Intapp Open across the firm.

They engaged iTrain to deliver the training for this rollout to all offices. The rollout was to be conducted remotely with small sessions of a maximum of 8 people.

The Solution:

  • iTrain trained to 1,200 BLM people using WebEx remote training delivery technology.
  • Delegates were trained in small groups to allow interactivity and facilitate participation.
  • iTrain designed four different training courses to cater for the different roles required within the Intapp Open system.
  • BLM selected iTrain both for their experience in designing and delivering training remotely to the Online Learning Facilitator Certification standard and because of their ability to understand legal technology and translate into easily digestible training sessions.
  • The training sessions were around 90 minutes in length and enabled delegates to feel confident to get up and running with their new technology and environments.
  • All training was delivered to time and utilized iTrain’s expertise in remote delivery techniques.

The Results:
Intapp Open was successfully rolled out across the business and has been adopted extremely well.

Feedback from the training has been very positive.
