About Weightmans:
Weightmans are a leading UK law firm acting for a range of public organizations, private companies, and individuals. They have over 1300 people working from their offices in Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, and Newcastle.
Project Overview:
Weightmans were replacing their legacy case and matter management system with 3E MatterSphere across the firm.
They engaged iTrain to deliver the training for this business-critical rollout to all offices. The rollout was to be conducted face to face with training support delivered by iTrain for the days following the rollout.
The Solution:
- iTrain trained and supported over 600 Weightmans people face to face in Weightmans’ offices across the UK.
- Delegates were trained in groups of up to 70 people per group in a presentation style over the course of a day.
- Weightmans selected iTrain both for their experience in delivering complex legal technology and process training in a way that made it easily digestible and practical to apply. 3E MatterSphere is business critical and they had to ensure that their people were able to use it comfortably within a very short space of time.
- iTrain then supported the people that they had trained for between one and two weeks to ensure that they were comfortable with their new systems. This was an extremely important part of the service as the real learning took place at this point.
- The training sessions and ongoing support enabled delegates to feel confident to get up and running with their new technology and environments.
- The training services were delivered to time and utilized iTrain’s expertise in face-to-face delivery techniques and training support once live.
The Results:
3E MatterSphere was successfully rolled out across the business and has been adopted extremely well.
Feedback from the training has been very positive.
