LexisNexis enterprise solutions joins conveyancing association as affiliate member

LexisNexis a technology provider who works in partnership with customers to help transform legal services, today announced that it has joined the Conveyancing Association (CA), the leading trade body for the conveyancing industry, as an Affiliate member. Through this partnership, LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions will leverage its in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by the conveyancing sector and technology prowess, to help CA achieve its goal of modernising the home moving process.

Lexis Visualfiles, the company’s legal workflow and case management system, is the preferred solution in the conveyancing sector.  According to HM Land Registry’s 2017 data, the top three UK conveyancers use Visualfiles for their conveyancing transactions.

LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions develops innovative solutions to help conveyancing firms to become operational quickly, work smarter and deliver services in the most efficient and profitable manner. The new Visualfiles Conveyancing Accelerators are a great example of solutions that help firms of all sizes get simple and rapid access to the Visualfiles conveyancing workflow system, whilst providing a strong foundation for further rapid customisation to evolve the platform to their exact needs. The Accelerators provide out-of-the-box processes that are needed to deliver an efficient and profitable conveyancing service – from quotation and instruction through to linked sale and purchase.

“Technology adoption and adaptation is fundamental to the modernisation of the conveyancing sector,” Andy Sparkes, General Manager at LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions commented. “The use of technology-driven processes reduces administrative burden, minimises cost leakages, mitigates risks and protect profits by enhancing the overall efficiency of the business. Most importantly, they help deliver an outstanding customer experience, an area that the conveyancing sector is often taken to task over. Modernisation of the home moving process is a worthy cause and we will work closely with the CA and its members to assist in this direction.”

Lloyd Davies, Operations Director at the CA, said, “We are delighted to welcome LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions as our latest Affiliate member. Much of the focus of our Strategic Plan is based on the benefits that technology can deliver to the conveyancing process and therefore we’re extremely pleased to have the company on board. Their technological expertise will be invaluable as we seek to develop tangible solutions to the problems we identified in our white Paper on improving the home moving process for all stakeholders. We look forward to working together, to showcasing their product and service offering to our members, and to developing a long-term and fruitful relationship.”
