Litera: The Changing Lawyer Virtual Summit and awards announced for 10 November

Litera, a global leader in legal technology solutions, announced the 4th Changing Lawyer Virtual Summit would take place on 10 November. This is the second year in which it will be held as a virtual conference.

“The Changing Lawyer Virtual Summit brings together the legal community to discuss how lawyers, law firms, and legal service providers are adapting to the changing environment,” said Avaneesh Marwaha, CEO of Litera. “The Changing Lawyer Awards program, now in its fourth year, acknowledges members of the legal industry who have implemented change and innovation this past year. We will be announcing the finalists and winners as part of the Summit program.”

Opening the Summit will be Seth Godin, best-selling author, founder of altMBA, blogger, and entrepreneur. Mark Schulman, speaker, author, and drummer for celebrities like P!nk, will close out the Summit with a bang!

The Changing Lawyer Awards

Litera is now accepting nominations for The Changing Lawyer Awards that are part of the Summit. These awards recognise individuals, firms, and companies in the legal industry for their role in embracing and driving change through new technology, service models, or behaviour. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm CDT, Friday, 29 October. Nominations can be submitted here.

The Changing Lawyer Awards recognise five distinct categories:

  • The Law Firm of the Year Award
  • The Legal Innovator of the Year Award
  • The Disruptor of the Year Award
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award
  • WFH Creative Award (new this year)
