sa.global secures growth funding from Kartesia

sa.global, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner that provides industry-specific solutions to Professional Services firms globally, today announced that it has secured $50 million in growth financing from Kartesia, an independent and privately-owned provider of credit and capital solutions with a pan-European presence. Global M&A advisory firm Equiteq represented sa.global as their financial advisor in the transaction. The funding will support sa.global’s business transformation, expansion, and growth initiatives. Under this partnership, sa.global will retain complete control of its business and will remain an independent, owner-operated company.

sa.global is an 11-time winner of the Microsoft Partner of the Year award and a member of Microsoft’s Inner Circle, the elite club of the top 1% of Microsoft Business Platform Partners worldwide, for ten years in a row. The company has a presence in 25 countries and an 850- member team, serving over 500,000 Microsoft Dynamics users in 80 countries.

“We are delighted to have the support of an investor like Kartesia who believes in our business and is excited by the opportunity to support our growth. We chose Kartesia because of their long-term, flexible, and relationship-driven approach as well as experience in the technology sector. Partnering with Kartesia gives us the financial strength to compete in an increasingly consolidated market but leaves us free to operate and grow the business in the same entrepreneurial, client-centric, and agile way which has driven our success for 30 years. We will use these funds to further cement our position in the Microsoft ecosystem with rapid innovation on top of our already differentiated product suite and to bolster our future growth and expansion,” noted Stephen James, CEO and Founder of sa.global.

As a confirmation of their growth ambitions, sa.global recently announced the acquisition of Dynamic Consulting – one of Microsoft’s top 25 Managed Partners in the US. The acquisition strengthens sa.global’s presence in the Americas and expands their capabilities across the Microsoft Business Platform.

Commenting on the investment Jean Diercxsens, Director at Kartesia said, “We are very pleased to announce our partnership with sa.global as we continue to partner with entrepreneurial and owner-operated businesses that benefit from solid growth prospects and high-quality management teams. We have been impressed with the robustness of the sa.global organization, the high level of delivery excellence, and the strong historical growth track record. The acquisition of Dynamic Consulting is a key milestone for sa.global in order to gain critical mass and further accelerate its presence in the US market. We look forward to working closely with the management team to further unlock sa.global’s organic and inorganic growth potential.”

Jerome Glynn-Smith, Managing Director at Equiteq, added: “It has been an absolute pleasure to advise Steve and his team at sa.global to secure flexible structured finance from Kartesia. I’m sure the sa.global management team will benefit from Kartesia’s experience in supporting business owners grow and deliver equity value in technology and services.”
