Silver Cloud: HCM selection and managed payroll for a global law firm
The Challenge
Our client had a Tier 1 HCM solution in place for several years, albeit utilising a historical, on-premise version. They felt they were no longer gaining the benefits that newer technology could offer and Silver Cloud was engaged to conduct a full digital review.
We recommended that they scoped the market for a new, cloud-based solution, which offered seamless integration and greater reporting capabilities.
The Process
Silver Cloud went on to provide full selection support services for both a new HCM solution and further supported a second selection process to find both a new UK payroll solution and a global, outsourced managed payroll partner.
The Results
After an in-depth review and evaluation of suitable options, the firm selected Workday for UK HCM and Payroll and ActivePayroll as their global payroll managed service partner.
They went live with Phase 1 in July 2020 and with their payroll service in November 2020.
