Tikit’s Hayley Biddlecombe is trekking 75km through Oman in aid of CoppaFeel

The trek is a whopping 75 kilometres long and will include walking through wadis, canyons and mountains, as well as camping in the desert. The participants will be split into two teams headed up by Olympian Greg Rutherford and author/vlogger Giovanna Fletcher! In addition to hiking 8 hours every day the teams will also compete against each other in different challenges.

The trek is in aid of CoppaFeel, a breast cancer awareness charity. The charity was started up by Kris Hallenga after receiving a late diagnoses of breast cancer at just 23 years old. The charity’s mission is to stamp out the late detection or misdiagnosis of breast cancer through raising awareness of the signs and symptoms. They encourage all generations to have the confidence to check for signs of the illness and seek help from a doctor if they think something isn’t right.

Hayley will be competing in four events over the summer to raise money for her trek. Two obstacle mud runs, a British 10k run and the New Forest half marathon trail run. Every little donation helps and if you would like to sponsor her please click here.
