Tiger Eye have released the latest interview in their ongoing KM Conversations series, featuring a video discussion with Tim Dale, Head of Knowledge at Pinsent Masons.
Pinsent Masons LLP is an international law firm, with a team of more than 2,500 staff. The firm was awarded the title ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at The Legal Business Awards in 2019 and was named ‘Europe’s Most Innovative Law Firm’ at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyer Awards Europe in 2020. Tim manages the firm’s core knowledge operations teams including research, library and knowledge systems.
In the session, Tiger Eye’s Managing Director, Dave Wilson, asked Tim a range of questions about his journey into knowledge management, and the critical role of client-facing KM in the modern law firm. During the interview, Tim also highlighted some key knowledge projects that Pinsent Masons have been undertaking in recent months, including the adoption of tools to support agile working. The interview also covered topics including the contribution of research and law firm libraries towards effective Knowledge Management, as well as the way in which digital communities of practice support the sharing of tacit knowledge through conversation.
