Wilson Allen wins Microsoft Gold in Data Analytics

Legal technology consulting and services firm Wilson Allen today announced certification by Microsoft as a Gold partner for two competencies: Data Platform and Data Analytics.

Norm Mullock, Vice President of Strategy, Wilson Allen, says Microsoft Gold certification is just one of a number of behind-the-scenes developments at Wilson Allen, laying the ground work for the impending rollout of a new managed service focused on helping customers along their data analytics journey.

“There is pent-up demand within law firms to apply analytics to data from all parts of their practice – beyond the financial management system,” he says. “Our soon to be announced Data Platform and Data Analytics managed service will help firms develop a cohesive analytics strategy to extract and analyse data for predictive modelling for business development, resource utilisation, and long-term strategic planning.

To achieve Gold partner status, which is awarded to the top 1% of Microsoft Partners, Wilson Allen completed rigorous training and met specific performance requirements demonstrating their ability to deliver high-quality solutions based on Microsoft technologies. This is the latest milestone in Wilson Allen’s long history of collaboration with Microsoft. Previously, Wilson Allen was recognised by Microsoft as an AI Inner Circle partner.

Over the past five years, Wilson Allen has undertaken a number of custom analytics projects for leading international law firms, as well as national and boutique firms in the US and UK, using Azure Analytics and Cognitive Services to derive insights related to marketing, client engagement, and client feedback.
