Elite appoints Lindsey Moorley as CFO to support its business evolution and growth trajectory

Elite, a leading provider of financial and practice management solutions to law firms, is announcing the appointment of Lindsey Moorley as Chief Financial Officer. She joins Elite at a pivotal juncture, after the recent acquisition of a majority stake by TPG Capital and emergence as a fully independent business in the global legal technology industry.

Prior to joining the Elite team, Lindsey served as Senior Vice President, Corporate FP&A, at NielsenIQ, a $3.1bn Advent International portfolio company in the information services sector. In that role, she led Corporate and Global Financial Planning and Analysis across the organization, including supporting a $1bn merger with GFK completed in June 2023. She first joined Nielsen Holdings in 2011 as it began its journey toward IPO and, during her time with the company, held various corporate finance and global divisional CFO roles, including CFO of NielsenIQ’s $1.6bn North America and Global Accounts division.

She began her career as a finance associate with Shepherd Kaplan Krochuk – a leading, independently-owned, SEC-registered investment advisory firm – and has also completed the two-year Financial Management Program at GE Capital. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and obtained her MBA at the University of North Carolina.

“Lindsey’s insight and expertise will be a tremendous asset to Elite as we continue to build out our world-class team as a fully independent business, in order to accelerate our growth and evolution,” said Mark Dorman, CEO of Elite. “She brings to the table robust experience in building highly skilled international finance organizations through public and private equity ownership, driving strategic top-line growth within SaaS portfolios, and building robust operating processes from the ground up – all of which will prove valuable as we embark on this next phase for Elite.”

“It’s a very exciting time to join Elite and be part of the team that’s leading the digitalization of the legal industry,” said Lindsey Moorley, Elite’s newly appointed CFO.
