ITFS latest reports

Greetings! We hope you enjoyed the amazing summer weather as much as we did and are refreshed and fired up for the sprint to Christmas!

Here’s a review of our recent projects, and a look into the coming weeks.

Get in touch if we can help!

In May and June we attended Momentum in Denver and London, where we sponsored the refreshments. We really enjoyed seeing old friends and making new contacts and spreading the word of ITFS!

We rebranded and relaunched our website so if you haven’t checked it already then please do at www.itfinanceservices.co.uk

We signed a partnership deal with Sean Stanley of Tally42 and we are now the exclusive distributor of LawFabric. It is early days, but we have several major firms in our pipeline! Read more about LawFabic here.

Afridi & Angell is a UAE law firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Toronto. They have been a client of ours for many years and during the last quarter we have undertaken a project to implement accrual accounting and reconfigure the system such that each Emirate is now a separate legal entity with fully tested inter-company transactions. This followed on from previous updates when VAT was introduced.

Work continues with Afridi & Angell throughout the year to upgrade their software to Expert 8.2.2, moving in a phased approach from Classic to Expert and preparing for the introduction of corporation tax in the jurisdiction.

Thompson Solicitors the UK’s most experienced personal injury and employment rights law firm with 18 offices nationwide have been a client for many years and we are working together with them moving from on premise to Aderant Sierra Solution.

Bird & Bird a client of ours since 1999 successfully upgraded to the latest version of Aderant going live in January. We assisted them with a rewrite of their docudraft estate providing two global templates that produce bills with the the same presentation look an feel around their 30 worldwide locations in 13 languages and obeying all locale jurisdictional requirements.

Ford Harrison, a US firm with offices all around the country, had us help redevelop their bill templates to reflect their rebranding.

David’s continuing to top up his tan in Dubai!

We continue to work with Afridi and to get them live by November and to help Thompson complete their move to the cloud.

We are excited to welcome Ron Piper back into our Aderant / CMS Open community. Ron started with CMS Data back in 1995 and has grew with that team through many transitions from Solution6 and on to Aderant, performing more than 100 full CMS Open implementations world-wide.

Ron joins our team to continue helping our family of firms with their on-premises and Cloud implementations and the many opportunities to improve the end user experience and secure business operations for the firm.

Discussions are well advanced to partner with Ford Harrison on their planned upgrade. The IP on docudraft we developed with Bird & Bird is to be applied for the firm and we are predicting the move from RTF individual templates (100’s) to a modular DOCX approach (say 4) will take a couple of weeks to configure.

Having developed templates for many firms over the years, we are proud to be seen as Docudraft gurus and enjoy regular projects for many Aderant clients. Get in touch if you need help in this area.

Other work planned for this year is to package up specific custom applications we have done for clients into generic modules that will be made available in LawFabric. This includes our Conflicts, Matter Planning and BillBlast Reconciliation.
