Lito, Litera’s Legal AI Agent, Selected As “AI Legal Assistant Solution of the Year”

The company’s legal AI agent, Lito, was awarded “AI Legal Assistant Solution of the Year.” Lito unifies legal workflows with intelligent automation within the Litera One interface, pulling from firms’ data and integrating into popular Microsoft applications and the web. High-profile law firms in Litera’s Early Access Program (EAP) for Lito helped shape the AI agent’s expanding capabilities.

“Lito helped me review and compare over 40 leases using it’s off-the-shelf grid template for leases,” said Brian Corbett, Partner at Poyner Spruill LLP. “I was even able to add additional criteria for Lito to summarize in the grid and easily review and verify Lito’s summary within each of the leases it annotated for me. Using Lito’s grid allowed me to complete what would have typically been a 5-hour project in around 30-45 minutes.”

“Lito’s award-winning, enterprise-grade security and seamless integration with firms’ systems ensure strict data governance while driving client satisfaction, competitive differentiation, and measurable ROI,” said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director, LegalTech Breakthrough. “Our awards program researches, analyzes, and recognizes the ‘breakthrough’ leaders in the most competitive categories of technology. Thousands of nominations came in this year from all over the world, and the competition was extremely fierce. Litera solidified its win by redefining what’s possible in legal AI and delivering proven results that are transforming legal practices across the industry. We’re thrilled to award Litera with ‘AI Legal Assistant Solution of the Year!’”

Lito’s agentic architecture fuses advanced LLM technology with Litera’s 30-year foundation of rules-based engines, enabling lawyers to access context-aware insights and automate thousands of workflows instantly, all uniquely within the unified Litera One interface in Microsoft 365.
