NetDocuments adds 7 AI apps to ndMAX Studio

NetDocuments has added seven new AI-powered apps to its ndMAX Studio. There are now more than 25 ready-to-use apps in NetDocuments’ repository of ready-to-use AI tools, building on the 12 foundational tools it launched in 2025. Together, they span use cases including judge analytics, contract playbooks, startup formations, patent prosecution and now large-scale document profiling.

By embedding AI directly into the document management system, ndMAX Studio enables law firms and in-house teams to move beyond experimentation and deploy AI in practical, repeatable ways across their operations. The newly available apps include:

  • Vendor Contracts Managementwhich turns vendor agreements into a consistent, searchable dataset. This enables procurement, legal, and vendor-management teams to track commercial terms, renewal dates, pricing, service levels, and key obligations across both legacy and newly executed contracts.
  • Privacy Policy Analyzer, a compliance review tool designed for legal and privacy teams that need to quickly evaluate whether a privacy policy aligns with key global privacy regimes. It focuses on frameworks such as GDPR, CPRA/CCPA, PIPEDA, LGPD, BIPA, and COPPA, surfacing missing disclosures, vague or noncompliant language, and areas of heightened regulatory risk.
  • Discovery Response Objection, which helps litigation teams handle incoming discovery by transforming opposing counsel’s interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission into a formatted draft response document. It reduces the repetitive work of re-typing requests and re-applying standard objections, while preserving full attorney control over the case-specific narrative and substantive responses.
  • Legal Citations Verificationbuilt to streamline citation verification for litigators – automatically identifying every legal citation occurrence in a brief or memorandum. It covers cases and non-case authorities alike – including statutes, regulations, rules, and secondary sources – so legal professionals can see precisely what has been cited, how often, and how it is being used, without manually scanning the entire document.
  • NDA Analyzerwhich streamlines the review of nondisclosure agreements by applying a playbook-driven, clause-by-clause analysis. It helps lawyers and business stakeholders quickly surface red flags, understand how each NDA provision aligns with internal standards, and maintain consistent negotiation positions across high volumes of agreements.
  • Idea Intake, providing a structured way for legal teams and operations groups to collect and manage requests for new apps or enhancements to existing ones. It replaces ad hoc emails and hallway conversations with a simple, trackable process that helps app builders understand where demand is coming from and which ideas are likely to deliver meaningful time and cost savings, including future AI-enabled solutions.
  • USPTO Office Action Responsewhich supports patent prosecutors by converting USPTO Office Actions into a two-part, prosecution-ready work product: a factual digest of the examiner’s positions and a structured response plan. It addresses the recurring problem of manually re-reading lengthy Office Actions to track every rejection, objection, restriction, and claim disposition, then rebuilding the same analytical scaffolding for each response.
