Legal work is built on continuity. What came before shapes what comes next. Over the past year, we’ve heard a consistent request from innovation teams and lawyers across the industry: Don’t make us start from scratch every time.
In a profession built upon precedent, this is hardly surprising. Lawyers often tell us how valuable it is when juniors reach a point where they understand the context of a matter, apply prior work appropriately, and adapt to the team’s preferences, without having to be reoriented each time. Increasingly, that’s the same expectation legal teams have for AI.
That’s why we’re excited to share that we’re co-building Memory in Harvey with the industry. Over the coming months, we’ll host customer listening tours and working sessions with firm innovation and corporate legal teams to understand what should be remembered, where it should apply, and who should have access.
